Together with Wilmink Engine Parts, you can put the finishing touches on an engine's injection.
The injector. You have them in dozens of varieties from different makers. Each has its qualities. When repairing, how do you choose wisely among them? Which brand and type have proved efficient and reliable?
Wilmink's specialists know a lot about even the smallest engine parts. They’re always curious about practical experiences. That's why we researched the most-sold injectors and their application at our customers, garages, and overhaul companies. Result: a fair list of 22 popular injectors. Wilmink only supplies OE-quality parts, so we can ensure that the recommendations from the research are available even faster and in stock now. Another plus is that the customer does not have to pay a deposit with us, and old injectors do not have to be returned. Warmly recommended, this Top 22 from the expert jury in no particular order. Take advantage of it!
In an injection engine, the injectors ensure that just the right amount of fuel is injected—in the form of a mist. Liquid gasoline, diesel, or LPG are of no use to an internal combustion engine. The engine management or ECU controls the amount and timing of injection. This differs from the classic engine with only a carburettor, which operates on airflow to the combustion chambers—the effect of a perfectly working injection system: lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.
If an injector no longer works properly, it usually has obvious consequences: starting problems, fluctuating rpm, higher fuel consumption, and abnormal values when measuring exhaust gases. Even worse is possible consequential damage; the engine block can then be seriously damaged, for example, due to "cylinder washing" or problems with the catalytic converter or particulate filter.
